Wednesday brought a flurry of news involving superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Earlier this morning, reports revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs granted the All-Pro wideout permission to seek a trade this offseason.
The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets quickly emerged as the two favorites to land Hill, and both teams had offers on the table. But after weighing his options, the 28-year-old receiver agreed to waive his no-trade clause and head to South Beach for the 2022 season.
Buffalo Bills superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs took to Twitter to react to today’s Tyreek Hill drama.
“The hell going on…” he wrote.

The Dolphins reportedly sent a 2022 first-round pick (No. 29), a second-round pick (No. 50) and a fourth-round pick, as well as fourth and sixth-round picks in the 2023 draft to Kansas City in exchange for Hill. His new deal will reportedly make him the highest-paid wideout in the league, just a few days after Davante Adams set the record.
Now division rivals, Diggs and Hill will face off twice a year in a clash of wide receiver titans.
With all these star receivers getting paid, perhaps Diggs is looking to get his bag next.
