Mitchell Trubisky was not a free agent for long.
The former Buffalo Bills back quarterback for Josh Allen has left the team. He did so in very quick fashion, landing a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers shortly after the free agency window opened.
Many expected Trubisky to depart and get a shot. It happened.
While Trubisky is no longer on their side, a couple of his now former Bills teammates were happy for the QB.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs pulled out a nickname he had for Trubisky:

It wasn’t just the offensive side of the ball, either. The defense was represented by safety Jordan Poyer hitting a re-tweet on his Twitter account:
