The weather at Orchard Park isn’t nearly as treacherous as last Sunday’s storm that moved the Buffalo Bills’ Wild Card Weekend game back a day. Yet the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will still experience winter conditions while clashing for a spot in the AFC Championship Game.
Before kickoff, snow flurries fell as Patrick Mahomes warmed up at Highmark Stadium. It doesn’t look like enough to stick or make a significant impact on Sunday night’s matchup.
Here’s the scene at Buffalo as the Bills and Chiefs prepare for action:
What’s better than playoff football?

Highmark Stadium has spent the last week clearing snow after a storm struck Western New York last weekend.
A bed of snow covered plenty of seats at the Bills plowed to a 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday. After submitting public pleas for shovelers, they’ve cleared the stands for a marquee second-round matchup.
There’s snow place like Buffalo.

They won’t have to worry about another storm undoing those laborious efforts Sunday night. The current forecast anticipates less than an inch of snow expected to subside by the game’s 6:30 p.m. ET start time.
Temperatures are expected to drop to 22 degrees, but it’ll feel like 12 degrees on a cloudy evening with heavy winds.
That may feel like spring for the Bills and Chiefs. While Buffalo just witnessed lake-effect snow, Kansas City defeated the Miami Dolphins on a sub-zero night.
Don’t expect either team to use the weather as an excuse when writing the next chapter in one of the game’s best budding rivalries. The Chiefs and Bills have split their six encounters over the last four seasons, with Kansas City winning the two playoff matchups at Arrowhead.
