The Buffalo Bills might be 10-6 entering Week 18 but they have yet to clinch a playoff spot.
They’ll have their chance of accomplishing that goal this Sunday night when they travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins. If they win, they’ll not only clinch a playoff spot but the AFC East as well.
That means they’d get a home playoff game while the Dolphins would have to go on the road.
To accomplish that goal, their best players will have to step up, including star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Head coach Sean McDermott wants to get him more involved in this game.
“He’s a big factor for us. He brings so much energy and vibe to our team and to our offense. He’s a valued member of our team and particularly our offense and we’re going to need him down the stretch here,” McDermott said via ProFootballTalk.
Diggs hasn’t been producing as much over the last three weeks, compiling only 13 receptions for 103 yards and no touchdowns.
He might break both of those numbers on Sunday night if he gets the ball quite often.
Kickoff will be at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
