The Buffalo Bills suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
They took the Eagles into overtime and even had a lead in the extra session before the Eagles marched down the field for the game-winning touchdown.
With the loss, the Bills are now 6-6 and face an uphill climb to make the playoffs. Despite that, head coach Sean McDermott wants the fans to stay with the team for the final five games.
“We know we’d rather have a better record than what we have,” McDermott said, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk). “But we are who we are and the encouraging thing is all the goals that we set for ourselves are still within our reach.”
The Bills will try and get right during their bye week this Sunday before they play the Kansas City Chiefs the following week.
A win against them could be just what the doctor ordered for getting their season back on track.
