Bills head coach Sean McDermott took a stand on Tuesday that there shouldn’t be any sweeping changes within Buffalo’s organization.
During today’s press conference with GM Brandon Beane, both said that they aren’t getting into the whole “window’s closed” mindset when it comes to contending next season and that they have the pieces in place to bring the first Super Bowl to Orchard Park, NY.
“This is not a situation where you strip it down to the studs,” McDermott said. “You really start with understanding the success that we’ve had and how we’ve gotten it. Then you make tweaks along the way to try and get ourselves to become world champions … We have not reached that ultimate goal however in terms of why we came here, and we will work tirelessly to do that.”

The Bills were once again sent home in the postseason by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion.
Buffalo has been a strong, playoff-caliber team for the past five or so seasons. They just haven’t been able to break through as a true championship contender just yet.
And maybe they never will…
