Since the Green Bay Packers were able to upgrade the offensive pass attack this past offseason, the Green Bay Packers have been discussing the idea of trading Romeo Doubs. According to reports, it looks like a trade involving Doubs isn’t out of the question, as he is in his contract year and the only player that has yet to receive a deal. It was a shock that the Packers extended Christian Watson over Doubs, and that might’ve been the icing on the cake for the wideout to be on the trade block. There is no way the Packers are letting him walk in free agency, as they will try to use his value to garner the best draft capital.
Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Nevada product is one of the most important pieces for Jordan Love’s offense, as they lost Jayden Reed for several weeks, and Watson is still recovering from his gruesome injury. There won’t be a trade anytime soon, but there could be if rookies Savion Williams and Matthew Golden step up to the plate to help Dontayvion Wicks in the aerial attack. It was a shocking investment that the Packers made, so no matter what the situation may be, it looks like Doubs could be on the short end of the stick. Here are three teams that could use his services for a deep playoff run.

Possible Fits
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs need a spark in their passing game, but the good news is that they’re facing the Giants this week. However, it doesn’t mean they should get complacent, as they could be 0-3 after this weekend. The Chiefs are currently frustrated with the receiving corps, so a trade might be in the works that could bolster the group. While Xavier Worthy will probably return when that happens, they will still need a true deep threat like Doubs either way.
He won’t be a long-term weapon for the Chiefs, but someone they can lean on as Rashee Rice is still suspended. However, things can always change, and he could replace Marquise Brown and pair with Rice, Worthy, Tyquan Thornton and rookie Jalen Royals as the future for Patrick Mahomes’ passing offense.
Los Angeles Chargers
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers have all of the momentum in the world. They can’t let this go, as they can always upgrade their offense, so they could give Justin Herbert the best passing offense in the league. While they have Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen performing at their peak, one receiver to watch if he can stay consistent is Quentin Johnston. Doubs could fill that hole if there continue to be issues and turn up the field for Herbert.
Buffalo Bills
Ever since the Bills traded Stefon Diggs, the team hasn’t been able to find a true superstar wide receiver. The Bills are using everyone at the receiver position, and while it’s not a bad thing, they could use one more wideout to provide a spark. Doubs won’t take snaps away from Khalil Shakir or Keon Coleman, but he is easily better than everyone else they have in their receiver depth.
