What’s your initial reaction to Buffalo selecting Hairston at 30?

The Buffalo Bills got their guy, landing cornerback Maxwell Hairston and staying put in their original spot at 30 of Round 1 in the 2025 NFL Draft. General manager Brandon Beane let the board fall to him, and chose an elite prospect whose character and personality keep pace with his incredible measurables.
Hairston comes to One Bills Drive with an opportunity to earn a starting role as CB2, though first he’ll need to beat out former All-Pro and Pro Bowl cornerback Tre’Davious White. Competition makes everyone better, and whether Hairston learns in a trial-by-fire beginning Week 1, or at a distance from the sideline, Buffalo should feel good about their situation as they exit the first round.
The question on our minds right now is how you’re feeling, Rumblers. Yes, of course it’s too soon to stamp a grade on Max Hairston’s career. But it’s not too early to give our “way too early” feedback about the work that went into Buffalo’s results at 30.
Okay, it is. But everyone does this and why should we pass up an opportunity at a snap-judgement NFL draft ratings party?
