Patrick Mahomes was angry after yesterday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, and he vocally expressed his frustrations against the officials.
On Monday, with more time to cool down, Mahomes was a bit calmer with his commentary. He told 610 Sports KC’s Carrington Harrison that he “regretted” his sideline reaction following the offside call against Kadarius Toney.
“More importantly,” Mahomes said, he regretted cursing about the refs during his postgame handshake with Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen.
“More than anything, I regretted the way I acted towards Josh (Allen) after the game. Because he had nothing to do with it,” Mahomes said. “I was still hot and emotional, but you can’t do that. It’s not a great example for kids watching the game.”

Allen and Mahomes have competed against each other for years and have always seemed to show great respect toward each other.
Mahomes’ emotions got the better of him during their postgame meetup yesterday.
“Dumbest f–king call I’ve ever seen,” Mahomes told Allen. “That’s f–king terrible, man.”
On Monday, Andy Reid, who had also complained about the penalty against Toney immediately after the game, conceded that the third-year wide receiver was “an inch or two” offsides.
