Quarterback Josh Allen will start in Week 15 for the Buffalo vs. the Carolina Panthers.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott made that announcement on Friday during his weekly segment with the team’s radio partner, WGR-550 radio.

In Buffalo’s last game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the QB was wearing a walking boot following the game.

However, Allen had never left the contest due to the injury.

McDermott went on to say that Allen suffered a foot injury on Monday. At that time, Allen was called a day-to-day injury.

Because of that, much speculation insisted that Allen would be able to play vs. the Panther (5-8). He now will for the Bills (7-6).

Further adding to the idea that Allen would play was Thursday’s practice. Cameras caught Allen during practice moving with no noticeable limp or pain.

Without Allen, backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky would have been in line to make his first start for the Bills in the midst of the team’s playoff race.
