Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen doesn’t tweet frequently, and when he does, it is typically an ad for a company he is sponsored by.
On Tuesday night though, Allen shared an embarrassing anecdote. Apparently, the two-time Pro Bowler had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction.
“My pants ripped at dinner. Didn’t want cheeks out… I love Paris,” Allen wrote.
That’s never a good feeling, Josh. Hopefully you were able to get that taken care of before too many people noticed.
By the way, Allen’s Paris reference isn’t because of the old “I see London, I see France…” schoolyard rhyme about seeing someone’s underpants. He and girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld are actually on a little romantic getaway in France this week.
Also, while perhaps Allen chooses not to be too open on X/Twitter because of his past tweeting controversy, but we love seeing stars, especially from the buttoned-up quarterback position, showing off their personalities.
Once Allen is back stateside, his focus will likely shift to football, where the 27-year-old signal caller is heading into a pivotal offseason.
Allen remains one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, maybe No. 2 in the league behind Patrick Mahomes. However, he and the Bills continue to be unable to get over the hump of beating Mahomes and the Chiefs in the postseason.
Maybe next season actually will be their year.
