Like his ability to break the huddle, Josh Allen’s golf game has continued to improve.
Over the past weekend, Allen competed in the 2024 American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. The celebrity event is one the Buffalo Bills QB has joined in recent years.
Allen finished in 37th in last year’s. In 2024, he did even better.
The leaderboard showed that Allen was in a tie for the 20th overall position after the third and final round. Allen was in a three-player draw with golf podcaster Hally Leadbetter and former NBA player Dell Curry. Their final score was 39 points.
Winning it with 83 points was former tennis professional Mardy Fish. In 2020, Fish also won the ACC tournament, edging out former Bills defensive lineman Kyle Williams, who was in second.
In terms of NFL quarterbacks, Allen was the fourth-best. Now retired QB Matt Ryan finished in a tie for 16th. Current New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished in 15th while Derek Carr of the New Orleans Saints rounded out this group in 11th.
