Bills quarterback Josh Allen played potentially the game of his life last postseason… and still lost.
Buffalo needs little reminder of what happened in the final 13 seconds against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The trickle-down effect of the loss has since caused changes to playoff rules. The contest ended up being essentially determined on a coin toss that Allen lost.
Some forget that Allen actually lost both coin tosses in that game, including the opening one.
Allen was the one who made the incorrect calls, however, he’s not taking the blame himself as he usually does.
Instead, he blames CBS Sports and their production because he says they jinxed him.
Prior to each NFL game, broadcast crews have interviews with teams and players. CBS Sports talked to Allen and during their chat they brought up the fact that prior to that game, Allen was 9-0 in coin tosses in 2021.
That’s right, he got every single one right during the year.
“In our production meeting, it was jinxed, I was 0-2 that game,” Allen said on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast. “They brought up that stat.”
Making a guest appearance on the podcast with Allen was San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.
He called the broadcasters “terrible” for doing that.
