On Monday, Buffalo Bills starting left guard Jon Feliciano was taken out of practice after “tweaking” his shoulder. According to Thad Brown of WROC, he got it twisted in a team drill. It wasn’t considered serious as he stayed on the field to watch the end of practice instead of receiving treatment, per Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic.

On Tuesday, Feliciano did not practice. With no practice Wednesday, it will be something to monitor Thursday as the team kicks off their third day of this week’s practices.

The Bills are already struggling with missing snaps along the offensive line. Starting left tackle Dion Dawkins and potential starting right guard Ike Boettger haven’t taken a snap during training camp as they were both placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list upon arrival.

Feliciano missed the first half of last season with a torn pectoral muscle as part of a 13-month run of at least one “starting” Bills’ lineman dealing with an injury. After Feliciano’s return, starting center Mitch Morse went down with a concussion, then Cody Ford hurt his leg. The group as a whole has been snake-bit.

Before spending the last two years on the Bills, Feliciano spent four years with the Oakland Raiders, who drafted him in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He signed a three-year contract extension this offseason after the expiration of his two-year free agent deal from 2019.
