After a long offseason NFL rosters were cut down to 53 players. The hosts, Jamie D’Amico and Big Chris Newton, find out who made the Buffalo Bills’ roster while recording the podcast.
Big Newt playfully turned it into a contest by comparing the final roster to the hosts’ predictions from July. In addition, they discuss the players they were happy to see on the roster, such as wide receiver Jake Kumerow, and surprise that defensive tackle Vernon Butler made the squad.
They also had a good laugh about their predictions of players that didn’t make the squad. (Hint: one of them thought tackle Bobby Hart would make it.)
Newt also discusses what players go through emotionally when they’ve been cut from a team and are forced to move on with their lives.
