If the Buffalo Bills lose to the New York Jets on Sunday and the New England Patriots beat the Miami Dolphins, then the Patriots will be AFC East champs for the millionth time since the turn of the century.
If the Bills were to be a Wild Card team and not division champs, they’re the team Peter Schrager of NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” would be most fearful to face:

The Bills have beaten playoff teams before this season, like the Chiefs. They also split the season series with the Patriots who have locked up their playoff spot as well.
But the Bills have lost to three playoff teams the Titans, Buccaneers, and likely Colts.
If the Bills don’t win on Sunday they could face any of the Bengals, Titans, Patriots, or Chiefs the opening week of the playoffs. The top-seeded team has yet to be decided.
If they win on Sunday the Bills’ possible opponents include the Patriots, Colts, Chargers, or Raiders. It all depends on who comes out on top this weekend.
The Steelers and Ravens aren’t technically eliminated yet but they’d need some supreme luck to reach the playoffs this season.
