Former Buffalo Bills coach Brian Daboll and front office executive Joe Schoen didn’t brief one of their first-round picks on geography very well.
Offensive line Evan Neal was picked by the Giants with the seventh-overall selection at the 2022 NFL draft. Daboll and Schoen now both work for New York.
Neal, who was in attendance at the draft, was interviewed after being picked. However, Neal quickly found out that the Giants aren’t based in New York City.
Or even New York State.
Rather, the 21-year-old learned he’d be moving to New Jersey instead.
Tough way to find out the Bills are New York’s only team…
