It’s that time of the year where Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs gets mentioned in trade rumors.
To be fair, Diggs stirred the pot this Friday by posting a cryptic message on social media.
“Ready for watever,” Diggs tweeted.
Naturally, that post led to fans speculating about Diggs’ future with the Bills.
“Somebody tell Ryan Poles we got another 4th to send,” a Bears fan said.
“Could you even imagine a team with Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Stefon Diggs,” a fan wrote.
Another person replied, “I really think he loves stirring up the media and this app.”
Diggs briefly commented on his future with the Bills during this year’s Pro Bowl Games.
“I don’t know, I feel like you talk about with the money and all that type of stuff, I can’t control none of that,” Diggs said, via NFL.com. “I kinda just put my hat on and like I said it’s a long offseason in front of me. As far as what the future holds, shoot, I don’t have any surprises for you right now.”
As of now, there’s no indication that Buffalo will trade Diggs. However, things change in a hurry in the NFL.
Diggs has four years remaining on his contract with the Bills. His base salary for the 2024 season is $18.5 million.
