Josh Allen’s turnover woes continued in an ugly start on Monday Night Football.
After Buffalo Bills running back James Cook lost a fumble on their opening play, Allen threw a pick on the ensuing drive. He threw another interception late in the second quarter, airing it out in tight coverage on an off-balanced corner route.
The Manning brothers grimaced as they saw the miscue during their ESPN2 telecast.
“Josh got to learn from that one,” Peyton said. “Got to come back and protect the ball better.”

With Allen now surrendering an NFL-high 11 interceptions this season, onlookers scrutinized the quarterback’s increasingly erratic play.
“The industry talks about Dak’s INTs the way they should talk about Josh Allen’s,” Robert Griffin III claimed.

“Crazy how many white shirts were there yet he still thought that was a good decision,” betting analyst Danny Burke said.
“This guy gets more passes for turning it over than any player I’ve ever seen,” a fan wrote.

“Terrible pick,” former wide receiver Dale Moss said. “Bills can’t get out of their own way.”

It’s not a new problem for Allen, who tossed 15 picks in 2021 and 14 last season. He leads all quarterbacks with 93 turnovers since entering the NFL in 2018.
Yet he’s also second to Patrick Mahomes in passing touchdowns (126) and third behind Mahomes and Justin Herbert in passing yards (15,657) since 2020. Allen typically has made more than enough spectacular plays to overlook the occasional blunder, but those errors are piling up at a costly time for Buffalo.
Allen has now thrown at least one pick in six straight games, and the Bills are in danger of falling to 5-5 if they can’t erase a 15-8 deficit in the second half.
