With today’s trade of Stefon Diggs, the Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver depth chart is now razor thin.
Of course, it seems likely that Buffalo will trade for or draft at least one wide receiver in the coming weeks, but that didn’t stop the internet from getting off jokes about Josh Allen having to shoulder the load and be used more as a runner this coming season.
“Josh Allen, get ready to run buddy lol,” said one person.
“The Bills are going to have an ugly run-heavy offense next year. Josh Allen should run wild, though,” said Frank Ammirante of TheGameDay.com.
“Josh Allen about to pull a Lamar 2.0 and run like a mf,” another person joked.
“Gabe and now Stefon Josh Allen really finna be Lamar Jackson in 2019 run run run over the middle pass to Dawson Knox,” said a fourth commenter.
“Josh Allen really just expected to do everything by himself wow,” chimed in a fifth person.

After four seasons in Buffalo, Diggs is headed to Houston, along with a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick, in exchange for a 2025 second-rounder.
The 30-year-old wide out posted four-straight 1,000-yard seasons with the Bills, making four Pro Bowls in a row and earning first-team All-Pro honors in 2020 and a second-team All-Pro nod in 2022.
