Beloved former Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick retired from the NFL this week. Fans of the team are always quick to declare Fitzpatrick one of their favorite players despite the lack of success the team had prior to recent years.
But that feeling was held similarly inside the Bills locker room as according to Fitzpatrick’s former teammate Eric Wood.
Appearing on the team’s radio show, Wood explained why that was the case. One of the reasons was Fitzpatrick’s willingness to be a fun teammate.
“He’s so witty. He’ll specialize in some… cross the line, childish games–at times. But he’s just a ton of fun to be around,” Wood said.
