Dick Vitale is disgusted by the Buffalo Bills’ decision to fire offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey.
The Bills fired Dorsey on Tuesday following their devastating 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday night. It dropped their record to 5-5.
Vitale called the firing a “joke.”
“It’s a joke that when a team is not living up to expectations, ALA, the @BuffaloBills just blame the assistant & fire him. Ken Dorsey gets the ZIGGY as it is his fault that the Bills are turning the ball over often,” Vitale tweeted.

Dorsey was the scapegoat even though the offense ranks third in yards per play, third in red zone efficiency and second in third down conversion percentage.
Bills offense thru week 10:
3rd in DVOA
1st in success rate
3rd in EPA/play
4th in QBR
3rd in yds/play
2nd in 3rd down conversion %
3rd in red zone efficiency— Mina Kimes (@minakimes) November 14, 2023
Joe Brady will be the interim offensive coordinator for the rest of the season.
Next up for the Bills is another game against the New York Jets after they lost to them in September.
Kickoff on Sunday will be at 4:25 p.m. ET.
