The Dallas Cowboys may have all of the momentum in the world after knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles this past week. But as they head into their next game against the Buffalo Bills, injuries could grind their momentum to a halt.
On Wednesday, the Cowboys released their first injury report of the week. It’s a big one to say the least.
The list is nearly a dozen players long with four players not participating and another six limited in practice. Fortunately, most of the absences were not injury related.
Among the absences or limitations were punter Bryan Anger, wide receiver Brandin Cooks, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, guard Zack Martin and linebacker Micah Parsons.
Yet of the 11 that made the list, only four were explicitly related to injury ailments and one of those four didn’t even limit the player (Viliami Fehoko) in practice at all.

There couldn’t be a worse time in the season for the injury bug to start hitting a team – especially one that has Super Bowl aspirations like the Dallas Cowboys.
It definitely pays for Dallas to start exercising an abundance of caution, but on the other hand their upcoming opponents are not going to be an easy group to take down even at full strength.
Are Dallas going to be plagued by injuries over these final four weeks?
