Mike Florio and Chris Simms were fired up for this Thursday morning’s edition of “Pro Football Talk.” In fact, they were a bit too excited to talk about the Stefon Diggs trade.
It all started with Florio questioning Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s relationship with Diggs. He believes the star quarterback refused to “take over” in Buffalo when things weren’t going well.
“Josh Allen always has his back. There’s never been a hint of any effort or any frustration or any attempt by Josh Allen to take over that relationship,” Florio said. “That relationship was dominated by Stefon Diggs. As long as Diggs got what he wanted, everything was fine. And Josh Allen never pushed back against this disrespect that we saw from time to time.”
Simms then argued that Florio would’ve ripped Allen if he publicly bashed Diggs at any point during the 2023 season.
“I’m just telling you nobody is going to call out a player at a postgame press conference,” Simms replied. “If he did that, you’d say he’s a bad leader, Mike. We’ve never heard anyone say that type of stuff.”
After the two of them interrupted each other multiple times, Florio said, “Go ahead, you talk until the break. I won’t say anything more.”
Simms then mocked Florio for having such a childish response.
“OK, be a baby,” Simms said. “You’re being a [expletive] baby. Shut up, you baby. Get out of here.”

Most fans are siding with Simms, which doesn’t happen very often.
We’d have to imagine Florio and Simms will get over this argument very soon. They’ve been co-hosting “Pro Football Talk” for way too long to let this debate ruin their partnership.
