Since former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll took the head coaching opportunity with the Giants, many have made a comparison.
Asterisk: Many who root for his new team have made one.
The hope for the Giants is that Daboll can unlock something in quarterback Daniel Jones like he helped do so with Josh Allen during his Bills tenure.
During a recent appearance on NFL Network’s morning program “Good Morning Football,” Daboll pulled the reigns back on that happening. The new head coach said there were many folks that helped Allen out, not just him, plus Allen put in a ton of work himself and deservers praise for that.
“I think it’s unfair right now,” Daboll said “Josh and I were together for four years. It took a village to help Josh — credit first goes to Josh Allen and his abilities and his desires and his competitiveness.”
“We got a long way to go,” Daboll added.
