Four-year veteran wide receiver Elijah Moore has signed a new contract with the Buffalo Bills. Moore, a former second-round pick, spent the 2024 season with the Cleveland Browns but has also played for the New York Jets.

Elijah Moore, Buffalo Bills, Agree to Contract
The 2024 season was another solid yet unspectacular campaign for Elijah Moore. Appearing in all 17 games while making 13 starts, the veteran finished the final year of his rookie deal with 61 receptions for 538 yards and one touchdown on 102 targets. This production came in spite of arguably the league’s worst quarterback situation, as Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson all struggled to consistently move the ball through the air. Cleveland finished with an underwhelming 3-14 record and earned the second-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Moore originally entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Selected by the New York Jets, the Mississippi product immediately made an impact at the professional level. While injuries limited him to just 11 games, the rookie still finished his inaugural season with 43 receptions for 528 yards and five touchdowns on 77 targets. Despite his strong play, the Jets missed the playoffs as fellow rookie Zach Wilson struggled to adjust to the game’s biggest stage.
Unfortunately, Moore didn’t build on his impressive debut. Appearing in 16 games while making nine starts in 2022, the wideout finished the year with just 37 receptions for 446 yards and one touchdown on 65 targets. Following the season, New York sent Moore to the Cleveland Browns shortly after acquiring quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Elijah Moore made himself at home in Cleveland, recording 59 receptions for 640 yards and two touchdowns while helping the team make a surprise playoff appearance with veteran Joe Flacco replacing an injured Deshaun Watson.
Since signing his rookie contract, Elijah Moore has appeared in 61 games while making 40 starts. During his time on the field, the Mississippi product has recorded 200 receptions for 2,162 yards and nine touchdowns on 348 targets.
