Less than 24 hours after losing to the Broncos on a last-second field goal, the Bills decided to make a significant change to their coaching staff.
Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey has been fired, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Dorsey took over as Buffalo’s offensive coordinator in 2022. He replaced Brian Daboll once he left to become the head coach of the Giants.
Now that Dorsey is out, the Bills will hand their offensive play-calling duties to Joe Brady.
Brady, 34, rose to prominence in 2019 as LSU’s passing game coordinator. It’s not a huge surprise that he shined with Joe Burrow under center. He then struggled as the Panthers’ offensive coordinator from 2020-2021.
Maybe, just maybe, Brady can revitalize his coaching career over the next seven games.

At the end of the day, a change had to be made for the Bills. They’re too talented to be 5-5.
Firing Dorsey may not get the Bills back on track, but it’s a clear sign that head coach Sean McDermott is willing to do whatever it takes to jumpstart this team.
The Bills will face the Jets this Sunday. It’ll be fascinating to see how the offense operates with Brady at the controls.
