Mother Nature could impact this Sunday’s playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Sunday’s game would feature 25 mph sustained winds with gusts up to 52 mph. Now, it sounds like the Bills and Steelers will have to worry about snow as well.
Bernie Rayno, chief video meteorologist for AccuWeather, believes the weather conditions in Buffalo for this upcoming weekend are going to be worse than expected.
“Razor close call for the Steelers @ Buffalo Sunday afternoon. Looks like a foot of snow Saturday night into Sunday am in orchard then single LES band probably moves just to the south,” Rayno said. “This band will have 2-3″/hr rates, whiteouts a true blizzard and road closures. Tough decision coming.”
If the Steelers-Bills game is played right after a blizzard hits Orchard Park, that could force both teams to lean strictly on their rushing attacks.
