Bills welcome Alec Anderson back to practice after ambulance departure

August 2, 2024 by Bills Wire

All is good for Alec Anderson after a potentially scary moment.

On Tuesday, the injury bug turned its ugliest possible head toward the 24-year-old offensive lineman. He was escorted from the practice field at St. John Fisher University in an ambulance and was taken to a local hospital due to a heat-related issue.

The following day, the team had off. Buffalo returned to workouts in Rochester on Thursday and Anderson was back in the fold with his teammates:

Anderson is in his second season with the Bills.

The 6-foot-5, 305 pound lineman signed in Buffalo after going undrafted at the 2023 NFL draft last year. He did stick around on the team’s roster last season and has an opportunity to do so again in 2024.

Following Thursday’s practice, the Bills will pack up and leave Rochester and head to Orchard Park. The team’s annual “Blue & Red” practice at Highmark Stadium is slated for Friday.
