The Buffalo Bills strutted out to a 28-3 lead, and it looked like their undefeated season would continue with little resistance. That was until the Los Angeles Rams offense woke up, exploding for 29 unanswered points.
The Bills made mistakes as well, as quarterback Josh Allen, who was stellar in the first half, fumbled on an Aaron Donald strip-sack. The defense, for their part, became Swiss cheese, letting the Rams run and pass at will in the second half.
Still, Buffalo had just enough in the tank to squeak out this win.
While the Bills were the losers in a controversial call against them with the Allen interception, they received a favorable call late in the game, giving the Bills an extra breath at the end of the game. Tight end Tyler Kroft, who took the tight end starting duties against the Rams Dawson Knox out, scored two touchdowns and the game-winner on the day.
