NFL: Chicago Bears at Buffalo Bills
Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

All the ways to watch Buffalo go for its seventh straight preseason W.

The Buffalo Bills (1-0) head to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears (1-0) at 1 p.m. Saturday in Week 2 of the NFL’s preseason.

Buffalo is coming off of a 16-15 win over the Detroit Lions in a game where Buffalo’s defense dominated the first three quarters of play before needing Jake Fromm to engineer a game-winning field goal drive late in the fourth quarter to escape with their sixth straight preseason victory.

All Pro quarterback Josh Allen did not play in Week 1 of the preseason, and on Friday morning, head coach Sean McDermott said that most of the team’s starters will not play against the Bears. One of the exceptions? Left tackle Dion Dawkins, who is working his way back following a bout with COVID-19 that had him hospitalized for four days.

With Allen sidelined, quarterbacking duties will fall to Mitchell Trubisky, who gets to lead his current team against the team that made him the No. 2 overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.

On the other sideline, the Bears rallied from a 13-3 halftime deficit to upend the Miami Dolphins 20-13 in their preseason opener. Rookie quarterback Justin Fields engineered the comeback, completing 14 of 20 passes for 142 yards with a passing touchdown and a rushing score in his two-plus quarters of playing time.

Matt Nagy, Chicago’s coach, plans to have his starters see an uptick in playing time in Week 2 vs. Buffalo, which could mean more of quarterback Andy Dalton (seven total snaps over Chicago’s first two series in Week 1).

Here’s everything you need to know about in order to watch and/or listen to the game.
