ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Bills are headed back to St. John Fisher for training camp, which marks the 24th time that camp will be held at the site.
WIVB News 4 will preview each position group on the Bills to get you ready for the return of football later this month.

X-factor: The health of the starting 5
Excluding the regular season finale against the Patriots, Spencer Brown was the only starter to miss a game in 2024. And he only missed one!
The continuity of the big boys up front is a key reason why the unit has become one of the best in the NFL. The Bills have had just two different starting offensive line combinations over the last last seasons. Due to that cohesiveness, they have allowed the fewest sacks over that time span.
Position battle to watch: Alec Anderson vs Sedrick Van Pran-Granger
We’re really digging deep on the depth chart here. But hear me out. The Bills have yet to re-sign Connor McGovern. If they choose to let their starting center walk in free agency next year, it may mean they have confidence in his backup.
Alec Anderson has taken game reps at the position in the past. But the Bills did draft Van Pran-Granger in the sixth round in 2024. Anderson is the leader in the clubhouse, but I wouldn’t rule out the former sixth round pick from winning that job.
Bold prediction: Spencer Brown makes his first Pro Bowl.
After a bumpy start to his career, the Bills starting right tackle blossomed in 2024. One of the most underrated moves in Brandon Beane’s tenure as Bills GM, is extending Brown before last season. If he didn’t, Brown’s price tag would be in a different tax bracket.
Dion Dawkins gets all of the headlines for his play at left tackle and rightfully so. But I think in 2025, Brown pulls up a chair next to Dawkins and establishes himself as one of the best tackles in football.
