BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Bills will be featured on the hit HBO series ‘Hard Knocks: Training Camp’ this summer, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday.
This is the first time the Buffalo Bills will be featured on the show. Hard Knocks streams exclusively on HBO, following the day-to-day life of an NFL team during training camp. It depicts the personal and professional lives of players and coaches. Position battles, team meetings, inside jokes, and pranks are often depicted.
Teams that had recently been to the playoffs had the option of turning down the chance to be on the show, but that is no longer a rule, making the Bills eligible to be featured on the show.
The show will begin in August, highlighting camp in Rochester. There will be several episodes weekly throughout the rest of the summer, culminating with the start of the season.
Other AFC East teams have been featured on the show in recent years, including the New York Jets in training camp in 2023, followed by the in-season version for the Miami Dolphins during the 2023 season.
