The Buffalo Bills are having a hard time reconciling with how they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and one player is taking big shots at the officials who were in charge.
Speaking to the media this week, Poyer expressed frustration at how their loss to Philadelphia was officiated and admonished the league for not holding officials accountable for no-calls.
“Nothing’s being done about it. Officials aren’t being held accountable for their no-calls. Players are getting fined during the week for silly stuff,” Poyer said, via Tim Graham.
“It’s not an excuse, but it’s just the way the game is being played this year. Doesn’t seem like a whole lot of accountability for the officials.”
Jordan Poyer shared some frustrations surrounding the NFL’s officiating this season after the Bills’ loss to the Eagles:

Officiating in NFL games has always been a problem, but this year it’s the financial penalties and fines that have really become a major sticking point.
When there’s no consistency to the fines and no consistency to whether a penalty is called or the flag is kept in the referee’s pocket, people are bound to go wild over it.
It’s all very Pavlovian.
