BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Defensive end Greg Rousseau has signed a four-year contract extension with the Bills, as the team prioritizes locking up core players ahead of free agency.
Rousseau, a reliable starter on Buffalo’s defense since being drafted in the first round in 2021, is now signed through 2029 on the new deal announced Saturday. ESPN reports the four-year extension is worth $80 million, with $54 million guaranteed. Rousseau was accounting for $13.4 against the Bills’ salary cap in 2025 on the fifth-year option of his rookie contrac.t
The 24-year-old Rousseau led the Bills with eight sacks last season. He also had career-high totals in quarterback hits (24), tackles for loss 16) and forced fumbles (3). His 25 sacks in four seasons are the most by any Bills defender in that span.
