The Buffalo Bills are fully committed to Stefon Diggs for next season.
Even though he only recorded three receptions for 21 yards during Sunday’s divisional game against the Kansas City Chiefs, he’s still very much in their plans for next season.
In fact, general manager Brandon Beane still thinks he’s a No. 1 wideout.
“He’s a No. 1 receiver. I firmly believe that. I’m not wavering off of that,” Beane said, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk). “Listen, we have to continue to put weapons out there to keep teams from bracketing him or locking him down in different ways to take him away. They know you’re gonna want to — Stef can still play.”
Diggs finished the 2023 season with 107 receptions for 1,183 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. This was the sixth straight season that he racked up at least 1,000 yards.
He’s expected to make $18.5 million next season and that may look like a steal if he has another all-pro season.
