ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Bills will be without starting defenders Matt Milano and Ed Oliver when they play the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night at Highmark Stadium.
Milano has been ruled out with a pectoral muscle injury the linebacker in Sunday’s win on the road against the New York Jets, and Oliver will miss his second game in a row after the defensive tackle hurt his ankle during practice last week.
Defensive backs Taron Johnson (quadriceps) and Cam Lewis (shoulder), and linebacker Shaq Thompson (hamstring/hand) are questionable for the Week 3 contest, Bills coach Sean McDermott said in an appearance on WGR 550 AM radio.
McDermott is uncertain if Milano will miss more games with his injury: “What Ive been told is it’s too early until they really see how this thing settles in, if you will, or plays itself out in terms of the days following the injury, as it relates to,” McDermott said. “I think that’ll have a direct impact on how long he’s out.”
