There was an incident last month where Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson was seen getting into the face of a Philadelphia Eagles fan and ultimately pushing him during their game at Lincoln Financial Field.
But after an internal review of the matter, the Bills have decided to handle the matter quietly. According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero,
“The #Bills are fining DE Shaq Lawson an undisclosed amount for his interaction with a fan in the game against Philadelphia, per source. The matter is now resolved,” Pelissero wrote.
But there were a good number of fans who feel that the punishment is insufficient and that the league should have cracked down harder – if not on Lawson than on other parties involved in the incident.

“But yet NFL did nothing. Any player in a game shouldn’t ever be doing this period. No matter how much some fans deserve!” one user wrote.
“The NFL dismissed a fan being touched because it’s such a bad look for the shield. What a joke,” wrote another.
“Should be suspended,” a third said bluntly.
Do you think this will be an appropriate punishment?
