Bills Mafia pick Buffalo’s 2025 receiving TDs leader

Who takes up the mantle with Mack Hollins now wearing the wrong shades of red, white, and blue?

In Buffalo Rumblings’ latest poll with SB Nation, we wanted to hear readers’ thoughts on potential receiving touchdown leaders for the Buffalo Bills in 2025. Prior, Rumblings voters chose wide receiver Khalil Shakir as the pass catcher most likely to hit 1,000 yards receiving this season.

Would the same ring true as it pertains to players catching touchdowns from quarterback Josh Allen — is Shakir the odds-on favorite in this category with Bills Mafia? Not so fast, because there are a ton of options — all of whom we asked voters to consider.

There are eight players returning in 2025 who stand some chance of leading the team in receiving touchdowns:

  • WR Keon Coleman
  • WR Curtis Samuel
  • WR Khalil Shakir
  • TE Dalton Kincaid
  • TE Dawson Knox
  • RB James Cook
  • RB Ray Davis
  • RB Ty Johnson

There are three players new to the team who could challenge for the lead:

  • WR Elijah Moore
  • WR Joshua Palmer
  • WR Laviska Shenault Jr.

So who did Rumblers pick? Will the results impact betting odds with FanDuel Sportsbook?

In a narrow victory, it’s Keon Coleman (28%) who readers predict will lead the Bills in receiving touchdowns. Just behind Coleman is Shakir (24%), and then Dalton Kincaid (20%). Much further back in fourth place is Elijah Moore (11%), Joshua Palmer (7%) in fifth place, and then Dawson Knox (4%) lands in sixth place.

How do these results land with you, Rumblers — was anything missed? Remember that in 2024, now-former Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins led all pass catchers in touchdowns with five. While that’s a bit of a low mark considering Allen’s at the helm, it does speak to offensive coordinator Joe Brady’s preference for distributing the ball to everyone.

Sound off in the comments about what appears to be most fans’ belief that Coleman makes major leaps in 2025, while Shakir and Kincaid continue to evolve as end zone outlets.

In national polls, one result stands out and isn’t likely to sit well with Bills Mafia. That, of course, is the question that asked readers to pick the player who’s most important to their team’s success.

The results are interesting, with Matthew Stafford taking first place and 43% of the vote. Just behind him is Saquon Barkley in second (36%), followed by Justin Jefferson third (17%), and Brock Bowers (4%).

You’re no doubt asking: “What about Josh Allen?” The truth is that Allen’s importance to the Bills is off the charts — it’s immeasurable.
