The Bills are going to be everywhere on your televisions.
The Buffalo Bills didn’t get the most prime-time games, nor the most national-window games in the NFL in 2025. The Kansas City Chiefs can claim those monickers, but with the recent film production for a Hallmark holiday movie centered on the Bills and HBO’s Hard Knocks coming to training camp, the Bills are going to be all over America’s TVs this summer and fall and hopefully until the Super Bowl in February.
Sports media reporter (and prominent former Buffalonian living in Toronto) Richard Deitsch put together his list of the most impactful games in the NFL this year from a viewership perspective, and while the Chiefs definitely figure prominently, the Bills are his top overall team.
Three of the top six games on Deitsch’s list are Bills home games: Week 9’s Chiefs game (No. 2), Week 1’s Ravens game (No. 5) and Week 14’s Bengals game (No. 6). The Bills make one appearance in the top 10, where their home game against the Eagles slots in ninth. Further down the list is the Monday Night Football game in Atlanta against the Falcons.
The Bills are undoubtedly a television draw thanks to their MVP quarterback, Josh Allen, and in particular, their AFC matchups are legendary for being entertaining games top to bottom.
“CBS has ridden the Chiefs and Bills to viewership highs over the past couple of years,” notes Deitsch.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if the CBS studio show was in Orchard Park again for the matchup as they were in 2024.
Anyway, for those folks in Western New York, it may not seem like a big deal. But for Bills fans around the country, it’s great seeing them featured so prominently. It’s also great that the team is good enough to warrant the attention year after year again.
