Bills Interested In Trading For Commanders WR Deebo Samuel Or DE Von Miller?

November 4, 2025 by NFL Trade Rumors

Tim Graham says to “keep an eye” on Commanders WR Deebo Samuel or DE Von Miller to be traded to Buffalo before the deadline.

With Washington falling to 3-6 and QB Jayden Daniels out indefinitely, Washington could look to move veterans who might not be in the picture beyond the season.

Buffalo is in the market for receiving and pass-rushing help, especially with the season-ending injury to DE Michael Hoecht.

Samuel, 29, is a former second-round pick of the 49ers out of South Carolina back in 2019. He was entering the fourth year of a four-year, $7,697,356 rookie contract that included a $3,618,076 signing bonus when he signed a three-year, $71.5 extension with $58.1 million guaranteed.

He was due a little over $17 million in the final year of that deal in 2025 but was traded to the Commanders before the 2025 season.

In 2025, Samuel has appeared in eight games for the Commanders and caught 42 passes for 367 and three touchdowns. He’s also rushed 10 times for 49 yards for a touchdown and returned seven kicks for 251 yards.

Miller, 36, is a former first-round pick of the Broncos back in 2011. After playing out his rookie deal, Denver picked up his fifth-year option and later used their franchise tag on Miller.

The Broncos signed Miller to a six-year, $114 million extension in 2016 with $70 million guaranteed. He made $18 million in 2020 with $6 million fully guaranteed and counted $25.625 million against the cap.

Denver officially picked up Miller’s option in 2021 at a figure of $18 million. However, the Broncos traded Miller to the Rams at the deadline for second and third-round picks while also eating most of his remaining salary. Miller then ended up winning the Super Bowl in his first season with the Rams.

Miller went on to sign a six-year, $120 million deal with the Buffalo Bills as an unrestricted free agent in 2022. He agreed to a pay cut to remain with the Bills in 2024 but was let go this offseason to save cap space. He then signed a one-year deal with Washington for the 2025 season.

In 2025, Miller has appeared in nine games for the Commanders and recorded 11 total tackles, four sacks and two tackles for loss.
