Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Vernon Butler left the team’s ninth day of training camp practice on Saturday. The team announced that Butler was being evaluated for a head injury after the workout.
The Bills have Sunday off from practice and will return on Monday. It remains to be seen if Butler will take part.
Along with Butler’s early exit, Forrest Lamp (calf), Christian Wade (shoulder), Emmanuel Sanders (foot) did not practice.
Despite missing practice, Sanders did individual work on Friday so his injury does not appear to be serious. Wade left Friday’s workout early with his injury.
Defensive end Jerry Hughes remains on the non-football injury list and has not practiced yet this summer.
Left tackle Dion Dawkins has yet to practice as well. He remains on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
