The Buffalo Bills are surging at just the right time with the playoffs a few weeks away and the AFC East title potentially within their grasp. But they’re still looking for some big-name (and big-bodied) reinforcements ahead of their playoff push.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Bills worked out veteran offensive tackle La’el Collins in Friday. Collins started 15 games for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022 but was released three months ago after starting the season on the PUP list.
Since entering the league in 2015, Collins has appeared in 89 games, starting 86 of them. He spent seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, but missed the entire 2020 season after suffering a neck injury in a car crash.
Last year Collins suffered a torn ACL and MCL in Week 16, ending his season abruptly. He’s only recently recovered from the injury.

The Buffalo Bills have won three games in a row and four of their last five, and both their offense and defense rank in the top 10 right now.
It’s often said that the team that’s hot in December will thrive in January and right now the Bills really look like they could be that team that turns up the heat.
Will La’el Collins be a part of the Bills’ postseason run?
