BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Bills on Friday morning hosted a “topping out” ceremony for construction on the new Highmark Stadium, during which the final beam for the stadium was placed on top, finalizing the main construction at the site.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, Bills owner Terry Pegula, and Erie County executive Mark Poloncarz delivered remarks at the event. Pegula’s daughter, Laura, joined the group onstage and Bills team reporter Maddy Glab was the MC.
The stadium is expected to be completed and ready for the 2026-27 season.
