Bills fans in Southern Canada hope the team’s playoff run goes all the way

January 26, 2025 by WIVB 4

NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario (WIVB) — As WIVB News 4 gets you Ready 4 the Chiefs ahead of the AFC championship game, bars and restaurants in Buffalo aren’t the only ones preparing for the game.

Restaurants and bars in Canada are also excited.

Mick & Angelo’s calls itself the headquarters for Bills Mafia. There are Bills flags all over the place and the bar plays games of squares.

Bills country doesn’t just exist within the borders of Western New York — it extends past the international bridges and into Southern Ontario.

At Mick & Angelo’s — this is where they cheer on the Bills.

“This is the year, this is the year, we’re going to do it,” one fan said.

Love for the Bills emerged there over 25 years ago, when an original founder of the restaurant, Ralph Biamonte, would charter buses for fans from the restaurant to the Bills stadium for games. Pictures from those days have been turned into a wallpaper that coats a portion of the ceiling inside Mick & Angelo’s.

Fans there are ready for Kansas City.

“I’m looking forward to them kicking the butt of Kansas City. I’m looking forward to great running plays especially by Josh Allen and a great team effort by everybody,” a fan said.

If the Bills make it to the Super Bowl?

“My dream come true,” said fan Randy Campbell. Another fan said he would have to get a passport to travel.

The next time you’re across the border, you can find Mick & Angelo’s at the corner of Lundy’s Lane and Montrose Road and don’t forget for this Sunday’s AFC championship game, the Game’s on 4.
