The Buffalo Bills enter the 2021 offseason with a tight salary cap situation, one that sees them exceeding the salary cap by over $1 million, according to Spotrac. This, of course, is problematic, as the team still has several free agents whom they may be interested in re-signing.
In addition, Buffalo needs to create salary cap room for their 2022 NFL draft class and other free agents they might want to bring in.
Buffalo can create some financial flexibility by restructuring contracts or cutting players. The Bills Wire highlighted nine players who could see alterations to their contract this offseason.
Another way, although a bit of a more challenging route for management, would be to pull off some trades.
